- 3,962 people with disabilities or disadvantages were served by a program MARC members provide.
- This impact created 1,159 private sector jobs.
- Over 2,700 individuals have been placed into community jobs over the past 5 years.
- 1,317 people are directly employed, in competitive, integrated settings, including over 300 people with a disability or disadvantage.
- $120 million estimated annual economic impact. This impact creates 2,883 private sector jobs in communities across the region.
Bottom Line
In the region served by MARC, per the US Census data, there is a 50% higher occurrence of employment of people with disabilities than the national average!
