MARC Mission
MARC – Meeting Challenges Together!
Since 1978, MARC members, in addition to providing training, employment and supports for people with disabilities and disadvantages, have also turned their mission-driven manufacturing base into an economic engine across 46 counties of North Carolina. MARC has 16 member organizations that are all 501c (3) nonprofits that share similar missions to train, support, and employ people with a disability or other barriers to employment.
MARC’s mission is to support members by providing a full array of services and supports for people with a disability or disadvantage. Collectively, in fiscal year 2023, members provided approximately two million hours of services to people with disabilities and placed more than 260 individuals into competitive, integrated jobs, while serving more than 3,900 individuals.
For more than 45 years, MARC members have demonstrated that individual’s level of achievement and quality of life are increased when a full array of employment and support services are available for them.
